DC Upgrade Technician (m/f/x)

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Data Center Upgrade Technician to join our Upgrade Department. This role is critical for maintaining and expanding our data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with server hardware, network cabling, and switch deployment, as well as a passion for technology and continuous improvement.
Your main responsibilities
Server Hardware & Upgrades:
- Perform server upgrades, component replacements, and hardware refreshes.
- Rack and unrack servers following deployment standards and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues efficiently.
Networking & Cabling:
- Install and manage structured cabling for data center racks.
- Deploy and configure network switches as per design specifications.
- Collaborate with network engineers on network architecture implementation.
Process & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate documentation for upgrades, racking/unracking activities, and network changes.
- Ensure adherence to data center best practices and operational standards.

Skills required: Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven hands-on experience with server hardware (installation, upgrade, troubleshooting).
- Knowledge of data center cabling standards and best practices.
- Experience in switch deployment and basic network configuration.

That's a plus: - Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA A+ (or equivalent knowledge).
- Familiarity with network design and architecture principles.
- Passion for technology, attention to detail, and continuous learning mindset.
